Low impact series of exercises originally thought by Joseph Pilates. You will learn basic principles of the Pilates method , concept of alignment , breath and control. Whether your goals involve work on everyday activities, sport performance, injury prevention or just the need for better overall health, as a student of Pilates you’ll experience improvement in physical stability, strength, and flexibility and leave the class one inch taller!

Pilates Mat Classes are the floor work version of the Pilates method. These classes take place in a group setting using your body weight as the primary source of resistance.

Focus is placed on precise movements originating from the center or core of your body. Working from the deepest layers of muscles, which stabilize and support your spine and pelvis, resulting in a strong, flexible spine with ideal posture and alignment.

Classes emphasize the foundational principals of Pilates while offering modifications and variations to suit each students individual needs.

Small Group Reformer

Experience the Pilates reformer in a small group setting then add other small equipment. This class is designed with your specific needs in mind. It will improve strength, coordination, flexibility, balance and stability. The Pilates Reformer is a piece of equipment that provides resistance with a series of springs and ropes. Adding rings, rollers, balls, and spine corrector barrels and you will develop strength, and flexibility all in one class. Space is limited to 4 students. This enables our instructor to correct and modify for all fitness levels and ages.

Reformer apparatus is an ideal way to get a full body conditioning workout using spring resistance and moving your body in ways that are unique to this specialized equipment. The emphasis is on rhythmic, flowing sets of movements which increase balance, flexibility while also improving strength, stamina, coordination and alignment. This unique workout simultaneously will stretch and strengthen your whole body.

Want to get toned and sculpted inside and out? Then take the 60 minute Pilates Reformer class utilizing the Pilates Allegro 2 state of art reformer from Balanced Body.Most classes are open level, but call ahead to make your appointment! Prior Pilates equipment experience is recommended but not mandatory if you are willing to go with the flow and learn the equipment

Reformer or Mat?

Why would you choose group Reformer Pilates over group Matwork? It really is different strokes for different folks! If you are looking for more personalized attention, Group Reformer provides more individualized workouts that include total body conditioning. If you require a little more assistance or support then Reformer will also be preferable for you.

Pre-Natal Pilates - Pilates for Pregnancy

Pregnancy and childbirth are a time of significant change for the body.

Our PreNatal Pilates class is designed around the changing limitations and requirements of a developing pregnancy, to provide a safe effective workout for women in their 2nd and 3rd trimester.

Please note: if you're still in your 1st trimester, you're also welcome in our Beginners classes - but please consult with a Trainer before booking.

Brand new PILATES 50+ class is gentle but effective Pilates Workout designed around the concerns of our senior customers.

This 45 minute mat class delivers a full body workout that strengthens the deep muscles of the abdomen and spine (the “core”), improves posture, increases flexibility and develops better balance. Add more life to your years with this specialized Pilates mat class!!

This is a challenging, hour long class that uses foam rollers and spikey balls to rebalance and stabilize your muscles with very specific movements.

It'll help your body to move more accurate and efficient by tapping into the neurological mechanism, not just the muscle itself. Perfect for anyone who experiences tightness in their body and especially beneficial for sports people, runners, exercise enthusiasts and those who spend too much time sitting at the desk or in the car!
